About Homebase Credit Union

Homebase Credit Union has a rich history of positively impacting the lives of generations of families. The credit union began in 1952, as a savings and loan service for Fort Gregg-Adams employees and their immediate families.

Over the years, we’ve increased our product selection and expanded our service areas. In 2006, Homebase Credit Union opened its doors to the Tri-Cities area, allowing us to provide affordable financial solutions to residents and workers in communities surrounding Fort Gregg-Adams.

In 2019, Homebase Credit Union further expanded our field of membership to include 14 counties and four cities in Central Virginia. We continue to pursue our mission of building a stronger community by providing valuable, cost-effective financial services to a broader area.

Shared Branch Network

We participate in a co-op shared branch network, which has over 5,000 locations throughout the United States. You can withdraw or deposit funds, make loan payments and receive loan advances at a shared branch network when you are away from your Homebase Credit Union branch.

ATMs

There are over 35,000 surcharge-free ATMs that you can take advantage of. Look for ATMs that are part of the CUHERE or MONEY PASS networks.

Online and Mobile Banking

We also offer online and mobile banking. Once you enroll in our program, you can gain access to your accounts from a computer, tablet or smartphone. View your balance and transaction history, transfer money, deposit checks, or even pay bills.
