$2,000 Donated to the James House

Each year, Homebase matches 100% of the proceeds from our annual meeting dinner ticket sales and donates the total to a community organization or charity.

We proudly presented a check for $2,000 to James House, the only accredited nonprofit organization helping people affected by sexual violence, domestic violence, and stalking in the Greater Tri-Cities Region. This includes the cities of Colonial Heights, Hopewell, and Petersburg, and the counties of Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Prince George, Surry, Sussex, including Fort Lee.

Congratulations, 2025 Scholarship Winners!

Homebase Credit Union awards scholarships to four graduating seniors within our membership. Qualified students submit applications and are judged anonymously on academic merit, personal achievements, demonstrated leadership experience, extra-curricular involvement and/or work experience. We congratulate each of our 2025 winners on this outstanding achievement.

Gabrielle Banks, $5,000

Graduating from Maggie Walker Regional Governor’s School, Miss Banks plans to attend the University of Virginia and major in Neuroscience and Psychology.

Maryam Huggi, $2,000

Graduating from Prince George High School, Miss Huggi plans to major in Environmental Science at Earlham College.

Brielle Bugauisan, $2,000

Miss Bugauisan will graduate from Maggie Walker Regional Governor’s School. She plans to attend Purdue University, major in Chemical Engineering and minor in American Sign Language.

Brandon Villalobos Donohoe, $2,000

Mr. Donohoe will graduate from the International School of Luxembourg. He plans to attend Northwestern University and major in Engineering.
