DFAS Direct Deposit Update

As we continue to improve our processes, our account number formats have changed. If your Homebase Credit Union account receives one or more direct deposits from DFAS-Cleveland for Federal Salary Net Pay, Federal Salary Allotment, Retirement Net Pay, and/or Retirement Allotment, the account number must be updated by May 1, 2024.

The correct account number format (as shown on your credit union statement) should be your member number without letters, dashes, or spaces.

For example:

• 12 34 5006 (incorrect) should be 12345006 (correct)
• 1234SMITH56 (incorrect) should be 12345006 (correct)
• 12345006-01 (incorrect) should be 12345006 (correct)
• 1234500601 (incorrect) should be 12345006 (correct)
• 7879123  (incorrect) should be 12345006 (correct)
  

Please update your Homebase Credit Union account number so your deposit(s) continue to be posted accurately to your account. Starting May 1, 2024, direct deposits with an incorrect account number format will be at risk of being delayed or returned.

You can update your credit union account number through DFAS:

• Access MyPay at https://www.dfas.mil/ (fastest and easiest option)
• Call DFAS 1-888-332-7411
